Following is the registration agreement which all new members agree to when registering. It is posted here for those who wish to re-read it after registering. Violation of these rules will result in a ban:

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented (legitimate discussion of sexual issues in the news excepted), threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Because this is a Christian forum, you further agree not to claim to be a Christian, or to represent the Christian viewpoint, if you are in conflict with scripture. The Bible contains God's Word, and is authoritative of the Christian belief system and lifestyle. If you do not conform to the basic, unquestionable tenets it contains, please do not misrepresent yourself as a Christian on these forums. It is essential, to avoid problems, that confusion about what is and is not Christian does not have free reign here. Anyone claiming to be a Christian, but contradicting clear, established tenets of Scripture, may be banned from participation. The unquestionable tenets include:

  • The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
  • There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
  • The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.
  • Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
  • The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and, thus become children of God.
  • The true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head.

Posting unverifiable personal prophecy (whether in harmony with scripture or otherwise), supposed direct communication from God, or other forms of supernatural revelation or enlightenment, as authoritative truth, instruction or commentary, is not appropriate. Posting such in the form of a question, intended for and subject to peer review and discussion, may be allowed, subject to administrator and/or moderator approval. If allowed, the posting member must respond timely to questions posed to him/her regarding the material posted.

You must not post active links to:

  • Your or others' website which you want to promote (spam)
  • Objectionable sites
  • Sites which slander and/or ridicule Christiantiy

Because a direct link from our site to another lends the other site credibility with search engines, the administrator reserves the right to convert any link into a URL that is not linked, which a member can still copy and paste into his browser address field, but cannot click on directly.

Atheists and members of other faiths are welcome to counter the Christian viewpoint, provided it is done respectfully, not posted as absolute fact - but belief or opinion, and kept to the Dissenting Viewpoints forum. For example, while it is appropriate to post a statement such as "I don't believe in God, and here's why...", it is inappropriate to post a statement such as "There is no god, and here's why..." Just as most Christians will present their viewpoint as a matter of faith and belief arrived at through reason, so should others.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries. The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. Your agree to keep the name appropriate and inoffensive. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason.  We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

The penalties for violating any aspect of this agreement are as follows:

First violation: banned from posting for a week.

Second violation: permanently banned from posting.

NOTE: The administrator reserves the right to skip the first violation penalties in the case of an egregious first violation - including but not limited to: spamming, posting of pornographic material and the refusal to answer questions posed by other members.

For example, while it is appropriate to post a statement such as "I don't believe in God, and here's why...", it is inappropriate to post a statement such as "There is no god, and here's why..." Just as most Christians will present their viewpoint as a matter of faith and belief arrived at through reason, so should others.
